It's now official! Geriatric psychiatry has its own specialty code! The effective date is April 1, 2010.

Gary Moak and Allan Anderson for their outstanding presentations at AAGP's meeting with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) a few years ago and follow-up conference calls and conversations with CMS officials on this issue.
