Geriatric Psychiatrist - Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine and OU Physicians

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine and OU Physicians - Tulsa seek a geriatric psychiatrist to assist in the development of a new geriatric psychiatry outpatient service that will serve as the foundation of a future fellowship program in geriatric psychiatry.   Applicants must be board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (or board eligible with recent completion of an ACGME accredited residency or fellowship) and eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Oklahoma. 

 

Primary responsibilities will include patient care, resident and student teaching, and participation in scholarly activities. The OU-TU School of Community Medicine is a regional campus of the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine, in partnership with the University of Tulsa. Seven residency programs and 6 sub-specialty fellowship programs are offered at the school. The OU Physicians - Tulsa practice offers a full range of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  A competitive salary and an excellent benefits package are offered.
