Psychiatrist, Division of Geriatric Psychiatry - McLean Hospital, Belmont, MA

 

McLean Hospital is inviting applications for a half-time position as a Psychiatrist in Charge on an inpatient unit, with the possibility of a full-time position by combining clinical services in other divisions.

 

Clinical duties will include the provision of direct clinical services to inpatients. Duties may also include a pre-negotiated amount of weekend inpatient coverage.

 

Applicants must have a M.D. and board certification in psychiatry. Added qualification in geriatric psychiatry is required. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of MA. The ideal candidate has expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders in older adults, comfort with managed care, and one or more years of post-training clinical experience. Salary and recruitment package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position will incorporate Harvard Medical School appointments commensurate with qualifications meeting HMS academic appointment criteria for Instructor or Assistant Professor.
