About #AAGP22

The number of older adults with mental illness is growing at an incredible rate and have a significant impact on our nation’s health. The AAGP Annual Meeting is the largest meeting of physicians and other health care professionals focused on late-life mental illness. The number of attendees are increasing year after year because this meeting has become the primary scientific meeting for presentation of cutting-edge research and new clinical innovations related to late-life mental illness.

The 2022 annual meeting will be LIVE and in person at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, FL, March 18-21, 2022. In addition, a limited number of sessions will be livestreamed for those who register but are unable to attend the annual meeting in person.

We are consulting with infectious disease experts and learning about safety measures effectively employed by other professional associations for their in person meetings. These measures include requiring full vaccination and a negative COVID test, as well as requiring masks for all indoor annual meeting activities. We also plan to offer hand sanitizer and encourage social distancing when possible. We are closely following the science and will continue to update our safety plans as we approach the annual meeting. We will take absolutely every necessary step to maximize your safety!

Who Should Attend?

The AAGP Annual Meeting offers cutting-edge educational programming for a broad audience of allied health professionals, including geriatric and general psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers and researchers.  We also encourage general psychiatry residents and medical students with a special interest in the mental health treatment of older adults to attend our annual meeting.
