Collection of your Personal Information
AAGP collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address and/or telephone number, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, and work/residency background. We retain the Personal Information we collect from you for as long as the information is relevant to our business purposes or until you request that we remove the data by contacting AAGP at email@example.com.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by AAGP. This information may include: your IP address and date of submission. This information may be used by AAGP for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the AAGP website.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through AAGP listserv emails or other areas of the Members Only section where information may be provided that this information may be collected and used by others.

Use of your Personal Information
AAGP collects and uses your personal information to deliver the services you have requested, including, but not limited to membership, conferences, volunteer opportunities, surveys and AJGP journal.
AAGP may provide your data to third parties to arrange for deliveries and other benefits of membership such as, but not limited to, American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to AAGP, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Through the Cookies of third party analytics providers such as Google Analytics, we can track your online activities over time and across the AAGP website by obtaining information through automated means. This information, along with information we gather when you log in, can be used to understand use across the AAGP website to help improve our services and remember your preferences.

AAGP secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. AAGP secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of industry-standard encryption.
