Signet Health is seeking a psychiatrist to join an existing group for the expansion of a New Inpatient Facility at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana PA.

This state-of-the-art facility will have an eight-bed adolescent unit, a 24-bed adult unit, and a 12-bed geropsychiatry unit.

The psychiatrist will be evaluating and treating a general adult population. The anticipated patient load would be 18-20 patients per day. Weekday calls are currently being handled. The weekend call will be estimated to be 1:8. This will involve rounding on the inpatient units and seeing psychiatry consults in the Medical Center.

Services provided include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for adults, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation-liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program, and medical education. The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and social work interns. A psychiatric residency program will be initiated once the hospital is built. An ECT program will be added.

Suboxone certification is preferred but not required. There is a robust multidisciplinary opioid narcotic recovery program using medically assisted treatment. Conceivably, 1/2-day out of the week could be spent treating this population.
